The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission and the West Virginia Community and Technical College System will host the second in-person event focused on the adoption and scale of Open Education Resources across the state from April 12-14 at Embassy Suites in Charleston.
Over the last few years, the Commission/Council has provided Open Learning WV grant opportunities to more than 120 faculty to support their OER efforts. Participants will have the opportunity to learn promising practices from these grantees and others who have created or adopted OER or are involved in OER efforts across the state and country.
The program will begin with an “OER 101” session for first-time HEPC grantees April 12. The full program opens at 10 a.m. April 13 and concludes at noon on April 14.
Overnight accommodations will be provided by the Commission/Council at no cost to the attendee.
Register to attend by March 24.
Those interested in being a presenter should submit a proposal for review.
Open Learning WV awards will be presented at the conference. Submit your nominations.
