The fellowship program is an opportunity for full-time faculty and instructors from across disciplines to enhance their teaching and scholarship by engaging with the museum’s permanent collection of more than 4,000 objects.
Fellows will collaborate with museum staff this summer to develop a small exhibition of approximately 20 objects that integrate themes and concepts from their teaching and research practice with the Art Museum’s collection.
The fellow will receive $3,600 in funding to research objects for potential inclusion in the exhibition. They will also meet with museum staff to plan and draft interpretive materials such as exhibition didactics, accompanying essays and education guides.
Find more information and apply by March 6.
The fellow will be notified March 24.
The inaugural exhibition, “In/Humanity: Combat and War in Art," is on view through May 14.
