Faculty, staff, students and alumni who know a WVU faculty member or a graduate student who demonstrates excellence in mentoring undergraduates in research and creative endeavors are encouraged to nominate them for the 2023 Awards for Distinction in Mentoring Undergraduates in Research by Monday (Feb. 6).
Nomination of a faculty member, a post-doc and a graduate student from several sources, such as multiple undergraduate students, faculty colleagues, department chairs or college deans, tend to enhance the nomination.
Outstanding nominees will be invited to submit supporting documentation and awards will be announced publicly this spring.
