The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program will offer faculty, staff and students several virtual Recovery Ally training sessions throughout the spring semester.
The hour-long training is designed to help attendees better understand the process of recovery, confront stigma related to addiction and use appropriate language when discussing substance use and eating disorders and other mental health and behavioral concerns.
Participants will also learn about available resources in Morgantown and best practices for helping those in need access services.
Training sessions will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 31, Feb. 28, March 28 and April 25.
