Faculty and staff encouraged to show appreciation for UPD officers during National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is Monday (Jan. 9).

In recognition of the holiday, WVU is providing faculty and staff an opportunity to express their appreciation to University Police officers by sending them a special Go Beyond e-card.

Sending an e-card in Go Beyond is quick and easy:

  1. Log on to Go Beyond using your WVU credentials.
  2. Select “Send an Ecard” from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
  3. Add your recipient(s) by typing their name, and they will appear on the listing.
  4. Select your card design.
  5. Write a special message.
  6. Click “preview and send.”
  7. Review your card and click send.

Check out this Employee User Guide for additional details on how to use the Go Beyond recognition portal. Visit the Talent and Culture website for more information.

National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day began in 2015 and serves as an opportunity to thank officers across the country for the daily sacrifices they make to serve and protect their communities.
