The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program will hold a virtual Mental Health and First Aid training for University employees from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 17, and Thursday, Jan. 19. Participants must attend both sessions to complete the training.
Attendees can expect to learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations and where to turn for help.
The training is free. Participants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis for 12 available spots.
