WVU Dining Services offers new way to access dining hall menus

students dining

To make it easier for students, faculty, staff and guests to access meal options and nutritional information, menus for all WVU dining hallsCafé Evansdale, Hatfields and Summit Café — are now part of the WVU Dining Services website.

The integrated menus allow users to view their daily dining options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on Sundays for each dining hall.

In addition to the total calories and other nutrition facts for each item, dietary information (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, plant-based, etc.) and details on a variety of food allergens (e.g., peanut, milk, soybean, gluten, etc.) are listed within the menus. Users can exclude certain menu items based on allergens.

A nutrition calculator feature also is available that allows users to build a meal and calculate its total nutrition.

For those who prefer to get their information via a dedicated mobile app, the prior Bite U and Bite by Sodexo platforms are transitioning to a new app called Everyday (available in the App Store and Google Play).

Everyday is designed to provide an enhanced user experience compared to the prior Sodexo app offerings. To access menus on the Everyday app:

  1. Download Everyday from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Sign up and choose your preferred email and password.

  3. Select the Check-in option to choose your location. Search for “West Virginia University” and select that option.

  4. If you have any dietary restrictions, select them from those that are shown (this information can be edited at a later time via the Dietary Tracking option).

  5. Select the Menus button to view WVU dining hall menus. Then select the dining hall for which you like to view meal options.
