Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend the Women’s Resource Center’s annual New Women’s Meet-Up from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13. This 40-plus year tradition of welcoming new women to WVU will be held at Terra Café in Morgantown.
Senior leadership, deans, chairs, academic directors, and seasoned faculty and staff typically attend to help new colleagues learn how to navigate resources and to find a sense of community among their new peers.
Hosted by the Women’s Resource Center, in collaboration with the Center for Women’s and Gender Studies and the Women’s Leadership Initiative, the spirit of this event, "Welcome! We are so glad you are here," has remained the same for more than four decades.
