Open Access and Open Educational Resources have become more and more popular in the area of academic and scholarly settings. The WVU Research Commons has put together a series of workshops to provide faculty and students training in publishing in Open Access resources and using Open Educational Resources in the classroom. 

Intro to Publishing: How Scholarly/Academic Publishing Works
This workshop will provide an overview of how the scholarly/academic publishing process works and what to expect when acting as an author, reviewer, editor or journal manager.

Copyright for Scholarly Authors
Want to learn what rights you have to control your work, the significance of signing a publication agreement, and how to easily authorize others to use your work? Join us for a workshop on these and other questions related to copyright for scholarly authors.
