All faculty, especially those who have been with WVU for two years or less, are invited to attend the Health Sciences Center Faculty Development Program’s faculty engagement event from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at the Erickson Alumni Center.
This event includes a panel discussion on leadership in education, a presentation on promotion and tenure and roundtable discussions on:
Deciding when to use survey research and doing it right
A game-changing conversation about inclusive leadership
Developing an education portfolio
Generational learning and teaching challenges
Getting recognized and turning your teaching into scholarship
Interprofessional education
Types and uses of big data for health services and outcomes research
Using assessments to enhance student learning and engagement
A presentation on promotion and tenure
A buffet-style lunch will be provided and a HSC Library resource table will be available.
