Staff and faculty registration required for international travel

Students Walk On Woodburn Circle

As we begin the fall semester, please remember that all faculty or staff traveling internationally for a university-related purpose or taking university-owned equipment abroad must register their travel.

When completing the travel registration, all WVU employees are required to provide information pertaining to Federal Export Control regulations. The gathering of this information is part of the travel registration process. Documentation prior to your travel assures that you are in compliance with Federal Export Control regulations and that you are registered for International SOS/health/evacuation insurance coverage. It is best to complete the registration process at least six weeks prior to your travel.

If you have students accompanying you on this trip and have not completed the Education Abroad process, contact Vanessa Yerkovich at vanessa.crandall@mail.wvu.edu. All student travel (credit or non-credit) with WVU faculty must be conducted through Education Abroad.
