The Back-to-School Job Fairs will be held as part of the Welcome Week activities and WVU Career Services is accepting registrations from WVU units that plan to hire student workers or Federal Work Study students for fall positions.
The two Job Fairs are scheduled for Monday (August 15) from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center and Tuesday (August 16) from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Vandalia Lounge of the Mountainlair.
Participating units are encouraged to participate in both fairs to accommodate students on the Downtown and Evansdale Campuses.
Supervisors with positions eligible for Federal Work Study or non-Federal Work Study are encouraged to post student employment opportunities in Handshake by emailing studentemployment@mail.wvu.edu. Handshake is the WVU career management system used to search and apply for all types of employment that all students have access to by using their WVU ID to log into the system.
