The WVU community is invited to attend “A New Standard,” a fashion show presented by fashion, dress and merchandising students in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design. The show will take place May 12 at 7 p.m. at the WVU Art Museum; doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Promoting passion and creativity, the show will feature accessories, pieces and outfits made by WVU students throughout the 2021-22 academic year. The program partners with the Royal University for Women’s College of Art and Design-Fashion Design in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which also sent pieces to feature.
General tickets are $30 each and available on Eventbrite or at the door. Student tickets are $15 and only available at the door with a valid student ID. The show will be livestreamed on the program’s Instagram account.
"The event will allow everyone to experience the vibrant and fast-paced environment of a fashion show while revealing our students' commitment to education, sustainability and individuality," Colleen Moretz, associate professor of fashion, dress and merchandising, said.
