The Eberly Writing Studio is set to host two virtual workshops focused on research strategies to support graduate and advanced undergraduate students April 15 and 18.
Ph.D. candidate and writing consultant Qazi Arka Rahman will lead participants in a grant writing workshop Friday, April 15. Participants will learn how to find and apply for grants, how to identify the components of strong grant proposals, and strategies to create successful grant applications.
Ph.D. candidate and writing consultant Michael Green will present "What I Wish I Knew About Archival Research" Monday, April 18. Suitable for students who wish to travel to an archive for a research project, the workshop will cover when and how to conduct archival research, how to identify funding sources to support travel to archives, and what to do upon arrival at an archive.
