The WVU Planetarium will present two in-person shows at the WVU Planetarium Friday (April 8). Both shows are free and open to the public; registration is required.

The first show, "Earth's Wild Ride,” will begin at 7 p.m. This is a children's show set on the surface of the Moon in the year 2081 with themes exploring asteroids, erupting volcanoes, dinosaurs and more.

The second show, "Black Holes,” will begin at 8 p.m. This is a show for all ages, exploring the power and awe of black holes—where they come from, how we find them and if there is one on Earth’s horizon.

The Planetarium is located on the top floor of White Hall.

Register for one or both shows.
