Rise WVU will continue to support Black and Latiné students through WVUe 200: Rise University Mentoring, a new permanent course to help upperclassmen make strategic and meaningful connections that encourage persistence towards graduation. The course will also provide an opportunity for students to engage with their peers and the Morgantown community.
RISE WVU is seeking faculty, staff and graduate students who would like to facilitate guided discussions with a small mentoring group and share their academic and professional stories with students.
Students can take this one-credit course during the first eight weeks of the fall 2022 semester.
