To prevent possible issues with on-campus printing, Information Technology services advises faculty and staff using WVU-managed Apple computers to disregard prompts to upgrade to versions 12.2 or 12.2.1. People who have already made this upgrade have reported subsequent issues using WVU printers.
To determine what version you are using, click the Apple icon in the upper left corner, then select “About this Mac.” If you have already updated to the affected versions, you will be unable to revert. ITS will provide information from Apple as it becomes available or if a workaround is developed.
This issue won’t affect you if you are working off campus and printing to a non-WVU printer.
