Celebrate Jason Kapcala’s book launch

Jason Kapcala

Faculty, staff and students are invited to celebrate the book launch of one of WVU’s very own, Jason Kapcala, the assistant director of the Office of Accessibility Services. The event is today (Feb. 28) at 7 p.m. in the Robinson Reading Room of the Morgantown Library or on Zoom and will showcase where creative writing and leadership studies meet.

Published by WVU Press, Kapcala's debut novel “Hungry Town” is hailed "colorful and taut" by Publisher's Weekly, turning classic crime and cop drama tropes on their heads with its strong female protagonists and its rich cast of morally complicated characters.

Kapcala not only recently earned the graduate certificate in leadership studies, but he is also a regular adjunct lecturer in the undergraduate leadership minor.

Register for this Feb. 28 event.

The Humanities Center is proud to co-sponsor this event with Eberly College's Leadership Studies program.
