Faculty, staff and students are invited to celebrate the book launch for one of WVU’s very own, Jason Kapcala, the assistant director of the Office of Accessibility Services. Kapcala will debut “Hungry Town” Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Robinson Reading Room of the Morgantown Library and on Zoom.
Published by WVU Press, Kapcala's novel “Hungry Town” is hailed "colorful and taut" by Publisher's Weekly, turning classic crime and cop drama tropes on their heads with its strong female protagonists and its rich cast of morally complicated characters.
This event will showcase where creative writing and leadership studies meet.
Kapcala not only recently earned the graduate certificate in leadership studies, but he is also a regular adjunct lecturer in the undergraduate leadership minor.
