WVU Campus Food Garden presents ‘Holy Ground’ with Rev. Zac Morton

The WVU Campus Food Garden is preparing for another semester of growing food for local food security organizations. In continuing to provide educational experiences for the University and surrounding community on a variety of food justice and garden-based topics, the Hungry Seminars return Feb. 14 at noon in G25 Brooks Hall. 

Events are open to the public. The seminar titled "Holy Ground - Modern Movements in Agriculture-Based Spiritual Practice as an Expression of Social Justice" will be presented by Rev. Zac Morton of First Presbyterian Church of Morgantown and examines the role of food justice in the vast variety of world religions and faith practices. 

The event will be held in person and online. Pre-register by Friday, Feb. 11 at noon.

Registration is also open for the Seed Propagation workshop by Sven Verlinden on Feb. 28 at noon. Space is limited. Registrations received in excess of available spots will be moved to the waitlist in the order they are received.
