Starting this week, the Office of the Provost will launch a series of monthly Campus Conversations focused on academic transformation topics and initiatives to engage the wider University community in dialogue about these efforts. The first session, “Academic Transformation: An Overview,” is scheduled for today (Jan. 27) at 11 a.m.
This session will be held via Zoom Webinar at https://wvu.zoom.us/j/98450069657; the webinar will go live five to 10 minutes before the event starts.
All WVU faculty, staff and students are invited to join Provost Maryanne Reed as she and President Gordon Gee discuss the “big picture” reasons behind the University’s academic transformation efforts, including the challenges facing higher education. Reed will also outline ongoing initiatives, as well as progress to date and new priorities for the Spring 2022 semester.
Interested participants are encouraged to watch the recording of “The Changing Higher Education Landscape” – a December 2019 presentation by EAB’s David Attis to the WVU Faculty Senate – prior to the event.
Questions may be submitted before the event to academictransformation@mail.wvu.edu.
Visit the Provost’s Office Academic Transformation website for more information. Future events will be added to the Campus Conversation portion of the site.
