The Office of Health Promotion and Wellness and University Police Department would like to remind the community to dispose of unwanted medications before the holidays.
A medication disposal kiosk located in the UPD lobby at 992 Elmer Prince Drive is available 24-hours a day, year-round. Anyone can drop off unwanted prescription medications, over-the-counter medications and liquid medication bottles less than 4 ounces.
This is a free, anonymous service.
“We want to encourage people to get rid of medicines so we can keep pills from becoming dangerous over the holiday break,” University Police Chief Sherry St. Clair said.
