WVU will join nations, institutions and communities in commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations today (Dec. 10).
Join us today from noon t0 1:30 p.m. for an online conversation to celebrate this Day.
This year's theme, “EQUALITY - Reducing inequalities, advancing human rights,” calls on us to address discrimination that affects some of the world’s most vulnerable people.
Our conversation will feature a panel of experts who will speak on human rights in connection with the Sustainable Development Goals on gender equality, economic growth, climate action, peace, justice and strong institutions.
