The WVU Council for Gender Equity is accepting nominations for the Mary Catherine Buswell Award. This Award, established in 1978, honors an individual who has initiated, provided or engaged in outstanding service to women at WVU.
Award recipients are chosen for excellence in their field as it relates to the advancement of WVU women, community and civic activities that serve and advance women and/or significant pioneering that improves the status of women.
The award winner will receive $1,000 for travel, supplies, salary supplement or other use commensurate with WVU policies. Each year, the Buswell Award is presented during the WVU Week of Honors.
Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m. Feb. 28.
