The WVU Eberly College of Arts and Sciences will host a lecture with Jimmy Moses Otim on "Re-Thinking Technical Vocational Education and Training Amidst COVID-19: Case Study of TVET Institutions in Uganda," Monday, Nov. 15, at noon.
Otim's virtual talk will explore some of the innovative interventions in the Technical and Vocational Education and Training space especially in Uganda as evidence for the need to rethink TVET education across Africa in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Event co-sponsors include the Honors College, the Africana Studies Program, the Department of Geography and Geology, the WVU Center for Resilient Communities, the WVU School of Social Work, WVU World Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, the Department of Public Administration and the Faculty Justice Network.
