National Fitness Court to open on Evansdale Campus

Join Campus Recreation on Oct. 20, from 4-6 p.m., to celebrate the grand opening of the National Fitness Court, located beside the Evansdale Residential Complex. The fitness court, which has been under construction since the spring semester, provides University and local community members with a safe, accessible and free way to exercise while taking in fresh air. 

The fitness court is fully equipped with a circuit training system, perfect for a full-body workout rotations. It was designed to provide users with a simple, yet impactful workout to further promote health and well-being on our campus. The court is a great place to take part in team sports, with three sand volleyball and two basketball courts included. 

Users will also be able to take advantage of pre-recorded, expert-curated exercise classes, courtesy of the National Fitness Campaigns and accessible on the National Fitness Campaign app. These videos can be accessed anytime, anywhere, making workouts work for everyone.
