WVU alum Hill to read from his new book ‘Blind Man's Bluff’

James Tate Hill

The WVU Humanities Center welcomes all faculty, staff, students and community members to join WVU alum and West Virginia native James Tate Hill for a reading from his new memoir, “Blind Man’s Bluff” today (Sept. 27) at 7 p.m. in Mountainlair Gold Ballroom.

Participants who wish to  join virtually via Zoom must register in advance.

Hill’s unfailing candid, humorous memoir discloses his experiences living with blindness and the tricks he employed to pass for sighted throughout high school, college and graduate school. In fact, Hill first received assistive services while attending graduate school at WVU in the late 1990s.

The Center hopes this event both celebrates Hill’s accomplishments and showcases the ways in which WVU supports students with disabilities.
