Password changes and other Login self-service features briefly unavailable Sunday

Faculty, staff and students on all campuses will be unable to change passwords from 8-9 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 19) during an important upgrade to the servers behind login.wvu.edu. 

New employees and newly admitted students will be unable to claim accounts during this period, and supervisors will be unable to change or request Sponsored accounts. You will also be unable to generate Duo bypass codes until service is restored.

This planned outage won’t prevent you from logging into systems such as the Portal or eCampus using your WVU Login credentials and Duo. 

If you have problems claiming an account or changing a password after the upgrade, call the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444.
