Let’s Talk addresses curiosity

lets talk

Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore continues her weekly series of short videos, exploring topics centered on helping members of the WVU community live, learn and work together with care and respect for each other.

This week’s video, released August 24, addresses curiosity.

“Mountaineers should be dedicated to the idea of lifelong learning. Curiosity should be an ongoing process,” Poore said. “This includes curiosity about different perspectives and beliefs, and about experiences of other people. When you stop being curious, you shortchange yourself. You stop growing.”

The Let’s Talk series, with a new video each Tuesday, addresses a diversity of topics, including equity, xenophobia, and ableism.
