Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore continues her weekly series of short videos, exploring topics centered on helping members of the WVU community live, learn and work together with care and respect for each other.
This week’s video, released August 17, celebrates new beginnings.
“Whether you are joining the Mountaineer family for the first time this semester or are a long-time Mountaineer beginning a fresh, new academic year – we all stand at a moment of new beginnings,” Poore said. “We have a moment, right now together, to create and embrace this new beginning. To value one another. To listen to one another. To learn from one another. And respect each other. And that’s really the very essence of an academic community.”
