SpeakWrite Logo

All WVU faculty are invited to a teaching workshop titled "Writing to Think...Creatively" Sept. 3  from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in Colson 130.

Students in all disciplines need to be able to solve problems creatively. This SpeakWrite workshop series equips faculty to teach students writing as an ideation and problem-solving tool to enhance innovative thinking in their discipline.

Led by Eberly College of Arts and Science's SpeakWrite Specialist Krista Sarraf, faculty will learn about informal writing activities such as visualization exercises and divergent-thinking lists. These approaches can foster students' abilities to generate new and effective solutions to problems.

To register, email Krista Sarraf at Krista.sarraf@mail.wvu.edu or use this link.
