The Teaching and Learning Commons is expanding its Faculty Associates program this year. This is a competitive process. The application deadline is June 1; selected applicants will be notified via email by June 22.
There are two opportunities:
1. Faculty Associate who focuses on any of the following:
Peer Support of Teaching
Learning Community
Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
Workshops and Webinars
Research on programs and initiatives
2. Faculty Associate for Assessment engage in activities and programming related to the assessment of student learning that will build both expertise and capacity for assessment of student learning on our campus.
Faculty Associates meet colleagues across the University and collaborate with the Teaching and Learning Commons team. And they work on innovative projects outside of their regular workload.
Additionally, in exchange for their commitment as a Faculty Associate, the Teaching and Learning Commons will transfer $2,000 to their department, specified for the Faculty Associate's use.
