Andrew Michaud, a senior Marketing major at John Chambers College of Business & Economics from Rochester, New York, has won TechRochester's "Best Emerging Tech Company" Award.
Michaud co-founded the e-commerce software platform, Valet Seller, which is designed to help small to medium-sized businesses sell online through their established network of online stores on leading marketplaces including Amazon, Walmart and Kroger.
TechRochester states that “The Emerging Tech Company Award acknowledges an emerging company demonstrating outstanding performance and growth potential. This company is one that has growing revenues and has the potential of becoming a leader in its market. This award will be judged on innovation/originality, and achieved growth and performance.”
“We are very honored that the growth of our company is being recognized in our home town of Rochester,” said Michaud. “We hope that we can continue our mission of helping as many businesses as possible and are proud to be recognized for that.”
