The WVCEOLC provides coordination, education and resources so that at the end of life West Virginians will have their wishes for care known and respected. The Center can provide you with resources and assist you with preparing your advance care directives, including Medical Power of Attorney, Living Will, Do Not Resuscitate cards and more.
The WVCEOLC is also home to the WV e-Directive Registry, which is a password-protected, HIPAA-compliant statewide database that allows accurate and relevant information about a patient’s wishes to be readily available to treating health care providers for respecting the patient’s wishes.
