Hearts of Gold seeking community foster homes for services dogs in training

kids with service dog

Hearts of Gold, a nonprofit organization that partners with WVU to train service dogs, is seeking community foster care homes for its dogs-in-training. Being a community foster is free and no experience is necessary.

Hearts of Gold will cover all necessary medical care, provide monthly preventative medications, provide food for the foster dog(s), provide necessary equipment (leash, collar, harness, bowls, kennel) and provide guidance and obedience classes for each foster. Community foster participants will attend three required training classes and have the opportunity to help with the training and socialization of your foster pup.
