Paid biomedical research opportunity for HSTA Scholars and FIRST2 students

WV-INBRE program will provide funding for HSTA scholars and First2 students attending WVU and Marshall University to participate in biomedical science research. A maximum of six internships for HSTA graduates, three at each school,  and three internships for First2 students will be available. 

Funding will be provided to pay the student $10 per hour to work up to 15 hours per week for 25 weeks on the research for the 2021-22 academic year.  Projected start date of the internship is Oct. 1 and funding will continue until April 30, 2022. The end date is flexible and could be until July 31, 2022, depending on when funding allocation for the student is exhausted.
