If you know a student who one day hopes to be involved in education or childcare, or simply has the potential to display positive leadership and role modeling, encourage them to apply  to become a Campus Rec youth counselor.

Youth counselors assist with the facilitation and oversight of all Campus Rec Kids Youth Programs, including Summer Camp, Kids Night Out, Youth Climbing and more. This is a paid, part-time job that will not only feel fulfilling, but also give the employee skills and experience in customer service, leadership, teamwork, collaboration and risk management that all future full-time employers will be looking for.

To be qualified for this position, the candidate must currently be a degree-seeking student in good academic standing at WVU. While training and/or experience in childcare or mentor-like positions is preferred, it is not required. The employee will be required to obtain certain certifications/trainings before their first shift.
