Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Meshea L. Poore continues her weekly series of short videos, exploring topics centered on helping members of the WVU community live, learn and work together with care and respect for each other.

This week’s video, released Feb 16, addresses self-care.

“We need to be mindful and very intentional about taking care of our physical and mental health during this time,” Poore said. “If you’re having difficulty, it’s OK not to be OK. I hope that you will seek out resources and support available to you through WVU and those around you. Reach out to your RA, the Carruth Center, the Faculty Staff Assistance Program, your friends and your family. They want to hear from you, and they care about you.”

The Let’s Talk series, with a new video each Tuesday, will address a diversity of topics, including food security, equity, cultural appropriation and intersectionality.
