The Provost’s Office has launched a new streamlined application process for some WVU faculty awards for Spring 2021. Faculty are encouraged to review details of these awards and apply by the Feb.15 deadline.
The awards impacted are those managed by the Provost’s Office and include:
WVU Foundation Awards for Outstanding Teaching
Caperton Award for Excellent in the Teaching of Writing
Digital Learning Awards
Ethel and Gerry Heebink Award for Distinguished State Service
Benedum Distinguished Scholar Awards
James and Karen Caveney Alumni Association Faculty Excellence Award
Highlights of the process changes include one common deadline date (Feb. 15), shorter applications and the use of Digital Measures to upload all application materials.
Applications, including the required documents, are to be uploaded to Digital Measures under “Archived Reports and Documents in Other Submissions”:
Select the current Academic Year.
Select the Award: WVU Foundation Outstanding Teaching, Excellence in the Teaching of Writing, Digital Learning, Ethel and Gerry Heebink Award for Distinguished State Service, Benedum Distinguished Scholar, or James and Karen Caveney Faculty Excellence in the submission type.
Upload your materials in the Initial Faculty Submission.
The deadline for the Provost’s Office awards listed above is 11:59 p.m. Feb.15. Late applications will be accepted.
