Virtual seminar to discuss stream-groundwater connections and water quality

Audrey Sawyer

Mountain streams are under pressure from changing climate, land use and water demand, which all influence stream-groundwater connections and water quality. Audrey Sawyer, assistant professor of earth science at Ohio State University, will discuss those challenges during her virtual presentation "Metals, microbes, and mixing of surface water and groundwater in mountain streams” Thursday, Feb. 11, at 3 p.m.

Sponsored by the Institute of Water Security and Science, the seminar is free and open to the university community.
