The Provost’s Office has launched a new streamlined application process for some WVU faculty awards for Spring 2021. Faculty are encouraged to review details of the awards and apply.
The awards impacted are those managed by the Provost’s Office and include:
Applications, including the required documents, are to be uploaded to Digital Measures under “Archived Reports and Documents in Other Submissions”:

- Caperton Award for Excellent in the Teaching of Writing
- Digital Learning Awards
- Ethel and Gerry Heebink Award for Distinguished State Service
- Benedum Distinguished Scholar Awards
- James and Karen Caveney Alumni Association Faculty Excellence Award

- Select the current Academic Year.
- Select the Award: WVU Foundation Outstanding Teaching, Excellence in the Teaching of Writing, Digital Learning, Ethel and Gerry Heebink Award for Distinguished State Service, Benedum Distinguished Scholar, or James and Karen Caveney Faculty Excellence in the submission type.
- Upload your materials in the Initial Faculty Submission.
