STAR and related systems will be down longer than normal on Sunday, Jan. 24 for important update

Banner (STAR) and all STAR-related applications will be unavailable 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24 for important security patching and updates that require more time than the normal maintenance window allows. This extended maintenance period will affect the Banner self-service app (star.wvu.edu), Banner administrative forms (STAR INB), Banner Document Management (BDM), Banner Operational Data Store (ODS), College Scheduler and Degree Works. 

It’s common to see an error message when you try to log in after a system update. If you are unable to log in once this work has been completed, try clearing your web browser history, closing your browser and relaunching it. Rebooting your device will also clear cached pages.
