OLLI seeking volunteer instructors for spring term

olli

OLLI at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors to teach a wide variety of courses for  spring term, including the arts, literature, history, philosophy and religion, current events, political affairs, science, math, health and wellness and more. The spring term runs April 12-May 28 and course proposals are due Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.

OLLI at WVU depends on the generosity of volunteers to teach the quality courses and learning experiences offered throughout the year. Drawn from all walks of life, many instructors are current and retired teachers, university professors and administrators, business and civic leaders, and other professionals from the community who wish to share their knowledge and passion.

Classes, one-to-six sessions in length, are offered 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, although evening and weekend classes are encouraged as well. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, OLLI classes will be delivered online via Zoom. We may consider some in-person experiences that would meet outside, weather permitting.
