WVU Transportation and Parking is offering a free Election Day shuttle for faculty, staff and students that will travel to the Erickson Alumni Center voting location. This stop will be available via the Country Roads bus route. These buses will operate on a modified route only on Tuesday (Nov. 3) and will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
When traveling towards Evansdale, buses will stop at:
Parking Lot ST-10 bus stop near Falling Run Rd.
Oakland St. crosswalk
Erickson Alumni Center
Mountaineer Station
When traveling back downtown, buses will stop at all previously listed locations except the Erickson Alumni Center. Instead, passengers can exit the bus at the Oakland St. crosswalk and walk a short distance to the Erickson Alumni Center from there.
In addition to this University bus shuttle, students, faculty and staff can ride Mountain Line buses for free to travel to their voting locations. They have provided a list of voting locations and the bus routes passengers can use to get there.
As always, please remember to wear a face mask or face covering before boarding any bus and at all times while on the bus as well as on campus.
All WVU buses continue to operate through Tuesday, Nov. 24. Buses run Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. View the bus routes and bus schedule for complete information.
