WVU Career Services Center is set to host over 200 employers during Virtual Career Fair Week Sept. 29-Oct.1. The three-part event series, which will take place on Handshake, will provide an optimal environment for students and employers to connect virtually.

The Agriculture and Natural Sciences Career and Internship Fair will take place on Sept. 29, the WVU Career and Internship Fair, combining previous College of Business and Economics Career Fair and the Health Careers and Internship Fair on Sept. 30 and the STEM Career and Internship Fair will be held on Oct. 1.

Through the job search platform Handshake, students will have the opportunity to meet employers, secure interviews and build their professional network. Participating employers include Aldi, ALKU, Ecolab, Fastenal, Northwestern Mutual and more. A complete list of participating employers is available on Handshake.

To ensure that students are prepared, Career Services has hosted a series of virtual Resume Reviews and Career Fair Prep events throughout the semester. To review how to navigate Handshake’s new virtual career fair platform, students can attend the How to Work a Virtual Career Fair Workshop, presented by Stanley Black & Decker, on Monday, Sept. 28 from 4-5 p.m.

Register and receive the link to the How to Work a Virtual Career Fair Workshop.

Career Services typically hosts more than five pathway-specific career events each semester. However, to accommodate campus visitor restrictions and the shift to partial virtual learning at WVU, the career fairs were restructured virtually to help streamline the student experience and maximize opportunities for employers to connect with qualified candidates.
