Faculty Evaluation, Promotion and Tenure information sessions to be held this month

Tenure-track faculty members are encouraged to register for one of the two information sessions focused on annual reviews and the promotion and/or tenure process Sept. 22 and 24. Presenters include Presha Neidermeyer, associate provost for academic personnel and Chris Staples, special assistant to the Provost’s Office.

The session will cover basic information, such as the timeline and calendar for the process, understanding the role of Digital Measures in this process, as well as best practices for preparing for the promotion and/or tenure process for tenure-track and Extension tenure-track faculty members. There also will be a discussion of modification of duties for certain full-time faculty and extension of the tenure clock.
