REMINDER: MAP services to be offline this weekend

MAP and related services such as MyReports, Leave Request, Web Clock and Time Card will be down from 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 until 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14 during important planned maintenance. To improve stability and performance, WVU’s system is being moved to a new cloud-based data center.

Employees may continue to use wall clocks to record hours during this period. The time punches will transfer once the MAP migration has been completed. If you have access to Web Clock only, work with your supervisor, who will need to enter your hours once MAP is available.

MyExpenses, MyTravel and Mountaineer Marketplace also will remain available during the planned outage, but transactions will not process in MAP until the work is finished.

There will be no immediate change in the appearance or functionality of MAP services, which will continue to be accessible through portal.wvu.edu. This work will, however, prepare WVU for the October debut of the new Applaud HR system, a modern software platform that will make administrative tasks easier to perform.
