The Teaching and Learning Commons is facilitating a learning community that will focus on proven teaching strategies and the creation of productive learning environments, based on the Association of College and University Educators framework.
You have the option of completing four asynchronous online courses (one per semester) and receiving a micro-credential at the end of each. Upon completion of all four courses, you will receive a teaching certificate that is endorsed by the American Council on Education. Those who have already earned the ACUE Effective Teaching Practices certificate can complete three of these courses to earn an Advanced Certificate in Effective College Instruction.
This opportunity is open to instructors at all the WVU campuses (Morgantown, Beckley, Keyser, Martinsburg and Charleston). The deadline to register for one of the fall courses is noon Sept. 15; space is limited.
