To prevent Portal error message, fully close your Chrome and Edge browsers after each use

If you use the Chrome or Edge browsers to log into Portal and other WVU sites, you may have started seeing a message that stops you from logging in. To prevent this, completely close your browser -- not just close tabs or windows -- after each use.  

This new warning is part of an updated browser security setting that helps prevent other sites from collecting your data. If you are using a shared device in a lab or classroom, remember to log off your device as well as closing your browser completely.
