To improve the stability and performance of MAP and MAP-related services, WVU will move the Oracle eBusiness software suite to a new cloud-based data center. An extended outage is planned to begin at 5 p.m. Sept. 11 and end by 8 a.m. Sept. 14. These dates were chosen to accommodate payroll processing.
Employees may continue to use wall clocks to record hours during this period. The time punches will transfer once the MAP migration has been completed. If you have access to Web Clock only, work with your supervisor, who will need to enter your hours once MAP is available.
MyExpenses, MyTravel and Mountaineer Marketplace will remain available during the planned outage, but transactions will not process in MAP until the work is finished.
There will be no change in the appearance, functionality or way you access MAP and MAP-related services (Leave Request, Time Card, Web Clock, MyReports, Pay Statement) once this work has been completed.
